a new piece inspired by dub duece, chillin at borders, dub busts out these spectacular colored mechanical pencils from crayola and right when i hit the paper... it felt right! thank you dub duece for the inspiration !

inspirational boosts...

 a friend from my college days got a tattoo done of one of my pieces of art, I just recently got a pic of it so im posting it up because its just reminds me on how much I love to draw, and sometimes I forget how fortunate I am to have this ability, I know im not the best artist but this tattoo reminds me of how others appreciate what i do =) 

A piece for capcom...

a piece pencilled for Capcom's book, they said not to publish it online untill the book comes out but I dont think it got in, so Ill put in up anyway =) The first one was colored by an old classmate from when I was at the Art Institute of San Francisco I dont know why its coming out in negative colors (Rey Llamas) The last one was colored by Neu & Lordan ( click on image for full view )

This is a funny story......

One afternoon I came late to my Nude study class, so I come in and end up sitting right up front, in front of the nude model, so I get all my supplies out, my newsprint pad, charcoal pieces etc and I start sketching. I start skecthing and about 10 min in the first pose I hear this farting noise, So i look around to see if anyone else had heard this magical sound hahah...and of course no one did because everyone is sitting towards the back...so I look at the model and she's smiling at me as if she knew what I was looking for...so im assuming she thinks I cut the cheese or somethin, but I know I didnt, so to my surprise this model had "queefed" hahah is that how you say it? I mean she is naked and her vajayjay would be "unfiltered" so she would not be able to conceal any gasses coming out of her hahaha mannnnn I was so embarrased.....so my advice to you...never be late to your figure drawing classes!! So yea thats the "queefer" in my drawings hahaha (click on image for a larger view)

yea this was another sketch done back in the day, a co-worker wanted to get it tatted on her, so when I asked for the drawing back she said that the guy who had had it died, but i know she kept it haha man....but yea can you find my name in the pic? lol (click on image for a larger view)

Zenescope

At the convention in SF I ran into the CEO of Zenescope Comics, and he said that I had good potential so he had me draw up 3 pages from a previous script from the " Grimm Fairytails" series...so here it is. Nishiki Sushi Sacramento 16th & P st.

Here's a piece I did for a local restaurant, i really enjoyed doing this one, and I enjoyed it even more when I saw it all over the restaurant, it was in neon lights, on the floor, seats, plates everywhere haha, I got one free dinner and that's it hahah if you guys wanna check out the restaurant it's on 16th & P st. downtown Sacramento.

here's my anatomy final, i completly forgot I had a final, so I decided to go to the library and bang out this piece, took me about an hour. When I got to class my teacher said " where were you ? were you doing your final "? hahahah mannn  (click on image for a larger view)

Carnal Comics 08'

This piece was interesting to me as this was my first commission done for Carnal Comics, I asked the publisher if he had time to look at my work, so I pulled my art out and he like one piece in particular and asked me to draw his character which was Demi the Demoness in my style and to consider it my first assignment...of course I got excited, so I look up Carnal Comics when i get home and its a XXX publishing house hahah fun fun fun ..... well here's the piece i did for him and he loved it. at this point any work would be fine....so its going to be published in the next book =) (click on image for a larger view)

My first time at WonderCon 08' .......

Well this would be my first time at WonderCon, I just found out that it was coming up so my friend tells me to put together 5 pages of comic art in time for the convention...so i banged out 5 pages in 4 days time, my hands were aching bad but it was all worth it, so I finish up the 5 pages and im excited and nervous as hell, I rush to Kinkos and make 10 sets of copies. Now im off to the bay, gas is so crazy expensive so I stop off at Concord to hit the BART so I take that into the city....my heart is pounding, nervous, so i gather up the courage to find who the publishers are and ask them if they had time to do a "portfolio review" haha man, some liked my stuff others didnt, I remember one guy was like " why is her hair like that, you spend too much time on it, i mean its just HAIR" hahah I didnt know what to say, so I just nodded my head. So i walk around looking for more publishers, got grilled somemore, alot of pro's gave me alot of good advice.. I also ran into an old friend from college who had also been doing comic art, which was nice to see.... so here im posting up these 5 pages , i remember jj kirby saying to me that one day ill look back at these pages and just laugh.....but he's the one that gave me the best advice. Oh and I had the pleasure of meeting one of the greatest OG filipino artists of all time Mr. Alex Nino and I didnt even know who he was untill now. (click on image for a larger view)

180 Capp St, San Francisco....

I was contacted by a former classmate and she wanted to know if I would throw up a mural for her , took me a few days,so i started out with a rough pencil then we went to Pearls to get some paint pens and some India ink. I enjoyed the 'frisco weather my hometown, it was perfect.....so here i've posted up pics of the place before and after........(click on image for a larger view)
